September Favorites!

Happy Wednesday everyone! And I cannot believe it’s that time of the month again! Might still be in shock with how fast September went, but that’s okay! It’s getting colder and I love it! And so, here is what I have been loving this month!

First up:

MAC Syrup

MAC’s Syrup! All month (since I bought it in August I believe) I have been wearing this nonstop. It is such a perfect color, your lips but slightly darker, for fall! There isn’t really much more I can say but I am seriously in love with it. If you would see me in person, or on my Instagram pictures or Twitter pictures, chances are I’m wearing this.

Nars Concealer mini

I have fallen hook, line, and sinker for NARS Creamy Concealer. I wear the shade “Custard” and it’s perfection. Everyone raves on about it, and I could too but I’m not going to cause it’s all the same haha. It’s amazing, if you haven’t already try it.

The next two products I have been loving, I haven’t talked about on this blog and they are both from Estee Lauder (and by the looks of how much I love these products I might have to try out more things from them)!

Estee Lauder Eyeliner

This is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil in the shade 01 Onyx. It is basically a black pencil eyeliner, but it is so much more. This lasts all day and does not move. At all. Whether you smudge it out or draw a cat-flick, it does not budge. It is absolutely amazing, Fleur deForce (on Youtube) would always rave about it, and I can see why! It even has a really great rubber end to smudge with as well!

And the last product I have been obsessing over this month is,

Estee Lauder Eye Cream

This is Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye cream. This is a sample size I got in a whole makeup set, for free with a $35 purchase at Macy’s (and I believe it’s still going on and I highly recommend doing so, there are a lot of amazing goodies in the makeup kid, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, makeup remover and a few more things!) I have been using a little bit of this every night under my eyes and the results are amazing. This pot is also super small and I haven’t even made that much of a dent in it! It hydrates and helps with fine lines and wrinkles! I might be going crazy but its even helped with the bags under my eyes and the dark circles!! Its amazing.

And that is it for my September favorites! Not that many, but I feel like the month went by so quickly that I didn’t have time to try many different things, so I kept using what worked over and over and over again! Which I must admit, made gathering the products a lot easier for this month haha!

What have you been loving this month?? Tell me below in the comments! And also let me know if there is anything out there that I should try!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Stressful Times…

Happy Monday everyone!

I don’t know if you all have been feeling like this, but I certainly have. This entire month, it feels, that there just isn’t enough time, hours in the day, etc. for everything that needs to get done! And I also don’t know how many of you know/believe in Mercury Retrograde (to be honest I don’t know if I myself believe it, but some times it does give reason to me feeling crazed), it seems like Mercury (the planet) is always in retrograde meaning that it’s closer to us than normal, causing all sorts of different issues and makes the world crazy.

So I have just been feeling horrible all month and there seems to be no end in sight. But what seems to help is to find some inspirational quotes (that aren’t cheesy but actually make you think) and I thought I would share them with you all, and hope that they might be able to help you as well!

~”Make yourself a priority. At the end of the day, you’re your longest commitment.”

~”I haven’t got it yet, but I’m hunting it and fighting for it, I want something serious, something fresh- something with soul in it! Onward, onward.” -Vincent Van Gogh

~”The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.” -Doctor Who

~”For the great doesn’t happen through impulse alone, and is a succession of little things that are brought together.” -Vincent Van Gogh

So there are four quotes that have really been helping me out recently and I hope they can help you too! Let me know what quotes you love!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Sleeping Mask!

Happy Friday everyone!! I hope your week hasn’t been too stressful and that you are looking forward to the weekend!

Today I wanted to talk about something that I found while I was cleaning my room last week and have been using all the time!

Sleeping Mask

It’s an eye mask! Now I am someone who needs to keep light out when I sleep, especially when I have a migraine. So this is something that I have discovered that really helps! Though, it does seem a little gimmicky it really does make a difference. I am the type of person who wakes up as soon as light enters the room and some of the times you don’t want to wake up at 5am…

I also don’t sleep through the night, I wake up at least once or twice, so once I wake up the first time, I put on the mask and all light is gone and next thing I know my alarm is going off! If you haven’t tried one or think its strange, don’t worry I did too! I got hooked on a sleeping mask my senior year of college because my room was about 70% windows. I also find it helpful when my mind is running miles a minute and I can’t turn it off to get some rest, it forces me to keep my eyes closed and eventually I fall asleep!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Another Trip to Sephora!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I went to the mall with my best friend from elementary school and of course, being both makeup obsessed we clearly could not go into the mall and not stop in or buy something!

Sephora Bag

Surprisingly what I purchased was all from the aisle of doom! Would have been more but pay day is another week away haha!

Sephora Purchases

I picked up the Too Faced Most Loved kit and Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (about darn time, I know!).

So lets start with Nars!

Nars Concealer mini

Everyone who is anyone in the beauty universe it seems has this holy grail product! Whether they love it or not, they have at least tried it! And I have always been wanting to try it (because my under eyes need some serious help, love and attention) but every time I go into Sephora, I look and can’t justify spending this much on concealer, when my Maybelline does the job and I am super picky about concealers! But the aisle of doom had the holy grail product in a mini version! So I matched up my skin tone and couldn’t resist! For $16 I got a mini of “Custard in Medium 1” and so far I can see why this is a holy grail product! Yes I am kicking myself for waiting so long!

Next up is something I saw online and was hoping they had in the store!

Too Faced Most Loved

The Too Faced Most Loved kit has everything! All minis of their most loved products, their Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, Shadow Insurance, Hangover Rx Primer, Melted Lipstick in Fig, and their Better Than Sex Mascara! I have tried and loved their Shadow Insurance and Better Than Sex mascara! Ran out of both and have been dying to try their Melted Lipsticks and their Hangover Rx primer, both of which I have heard amazingly flawless reviews and really wanted to try for myself! And for $25 you get a really great amount of product for all minis!

Well, I can’t lie, I love some travel sized products, it’s one of my many weaknesses! So far I love all of these and can’t wait to try them all! Let me know if you would like any full fledge reviews of any or all these products and I will be happy to oblige!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Maybelline “The Falsies Push Up Drama” Review!!

Happy Monday everyone!! At this point I’m sure it comes to no surprise that I was at Target this weekend and had to stop in the makeup section… And surprisingly I saw Maybelline’s newest mascara!! I was super excited since it very recently launched and I was able to get my hands on it!

The Falsies Push Up Drama

So let’s start with the packaging, its adorable. Metallic pink and red in a slim tube and rose gold writing! I picked it up in the color “304 Blackest Black” in the non-waterproof formula. I don’t know if it even comes in a waterproof formula, when I saw it at Target this was the only option they had, so I grabbed it because I had to try it haha!

The Falsies Push Up Drama Wand

The brush it really cool, spikey, great for volume (hopefully) and meant to cup each lash and push them up. It’s a bit of a wetter formula, which I like and prefer, and it really is blackest black. I have dark eyelashes to begin with but they were really dark after two coats of this mascara haha! The volume was pretty good, but I have to admit that I was expecting a lot from this mascara. My one and only complaint is more of a personal one, it didn’t do a great job at holding a curl. My eyelashes, because of my ethnicity, grow straight down and after curling my lashes (which is a step I never miss) and applying this mascara it didn’t hold it at all, or at least that’s what it looked like.

On a high note, it didn’t flake or transfer and stayed on throughout my shift! It added some nice volume and some color to my lashes. It is a really good mascara! I don’t think it will beat my beloved Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara… And I don’t know if anything ever will, it’s no secret anymore how picky I am with mascaras! Who knows, maybe if they do have a waterproof version I would have liked it better!

I hope you all have a lovely Monday!! :)

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Drugstore Dupe Week! Final Round!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful week and are excited for the weekend! For the final installment for Drugstore Dupe Week, I have eyeliner!

Make Up For Ever is a brand that I really adore and their Graphic Liner is so amazing. It’s pigmented, lasts all day, stays put and so easy to use with a felt tip liner, so it is the perfect liner to make a cat eye or any look you are going for!

High End Eyeliner

The drugstore version that I have found, I have actually been using for years! And I honestly can’t tell the difference. I think I have talked about it before on my blog and that is the L’Oreal Paris 24 Hour Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Liner! Everything I said about Make Up For Ever, you can say about this liner.

Drugstore Eyeliner

They are so identical, but I do have to say the L’Oreal one I find easier to hold, because it does have a little grip (as you can see in the picture). But look at how pigmented they both are:

Eyeliner Dupe Swatches

On the left is Make Up For Ever and on the right is L’Oreal Paris. I have had these both for several months and they are still not drying out!

I love both of these liners but if you want a drugstore alternative to a higher end product, here it is! I hope you all have enjoyed this Drugstore Dupe Week! Let me know if you would like me to keep doing it! And leave me a comment letting me know if there are any dupes I should know about or try to find a dupe for!

Have a great weekend!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Drug Store Dupe Week, Round Two!!

Hi all! Happy Wednesday! We’re almost to the weekend! Yay! But hey, I work in retail so there isn’t really a weekend for me anymore… Wooo!

So for round two of my drugstore dupe week, as promised in Monday’s post, is a hair care product that is essential for my ridiculously thick hair! And that is sprays that are meant to help your hair dry faster!

I have been loving “KMS California Free Shape Quick Blow Dry ┬áSpray”

Salon product

When I got my hair cut months and months back, my hair dresser used this and I have been hooked ever since! It’s really a wonderful product that actually does what it says. And I’m not one to use a lot of products in my hair because they either weigh it down or not do what it says it’s going to do. ┬áBut this miraculously works and its wonderful, but it is a tad on the pricey side for a large bottle.

Then when I went shopping in August with my best friend, she asked if I blow dry my hair and if I have tried this product by L’Oreal Paris. I said no I haven’t tried it, but I totally have to now, especially since it’s heat activated and has a built in heat protectant.

Drugstore product

Coming in at a whopping $3.99 this bottle of miracles is wonderful. Not only does it make your hair dry faster, just as the KMS California product does, but it smells of vanilla and coconut heaven and lasts pretty well on your hair as well. And because of the built in heat protectant you can go straight to curling or straightening your hair without adding another product, which I really like because I don’t like the heat protectant I have now haha!

Both these products are lovely, but I think I actually prefer the L’Oreal Paris Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray! (Thanks K!) And it’s so inexpensive, how can you go wrong??

See y’all on Friday for my favorite liquid liner dupe!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo
