New Favorite Lip Balm!!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are all having a great week and are excited for the weekend!

Today I want to talk about a lip balm that I have recently been loving and saving my lips especially when the snow and cold attacked NY this month!

Clarins Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm

This is Clarins’ Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm with essential Rose wax! It’s amazing and works wonders. My lips go through such hardships in the winter and with one coat of this magic, it’s like there was never a thing wrong with them. It glides on, sinks in, it’s not heavy and instantly your lips look and feel better and healthier.

If you’re like me and struggle with dry lips but hate feeling of a lot of product on your lips then I seriously would head to a Clarins counter!! Haha I really just love all of Clarins products, especially the lip products! Seriously go try them out! Their lip balm, lip oil, lip perfectors! Go! :)

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Concealer Dupe!!

Happy Wednesday everyone!! I hope your week is going well!

Today I want to talk about a really great concealer that is a really great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer.

Now y’all know how much I love Urban Decay and this concealer but this one is $5 and is practically identical.

NYX HD Concealer

This is NYX’s HD Concealer, and I have the shade CW02 Fair. It’s a liquid concealer with a doe foot applicator, it doesn’t settle into fine lines or crease, they have a very good amount of shades and the shade I have does well for brightening the under eye area as well! But if you use it on spots it doesn’t bring attention to them.

I really like this concealer, and you can’t go wrong with the price. I have been reaching for this product more than my Urban Decay and I think that says a lot haha! If you are in the market for a new concealer this one is a great one to look for and it won’t break the bank!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Slightly Obsessed with Lip Liners

Happy Friday everyone!! I hope you are having a lovely week! And are excited for the weekend, I know I am!

Today I want to talk about a product in general and a specific product that I have been using everyday practically for the month of February. And that, if you haven’t already guessed by the title, is Lip Liners.

I have been using them on their own instead of lipsticks with just a touch of balm underneath them and it lasts all day and stays in place, its really wonderful.

I have three that have been in rotation but one that really stands out. The three that I have been loving are:

Bobbi Brown Lip Pencil in “Nude”

Mac Lip Pencil in “Soar”

Lancome Le LipStique in “Ideal”

The one that really stands out to me lately and have been wearing the most without a doubt is…

Lancome Lip Pencil Ideal

The Lancome Lip Pencil in “Ideal”. It not only is the… Ideal color (teehee) but it is the creamiest formula and glides on the lips so effortlessly making them look absolutely amazing. It is more on the brown side of the nudes and it is so flattering. If you are by a counter I really would recommend swatching it and seeing for yourself the color and the formula! These are really one of the best lip liners I’ve used! They also come with a lip brush on the other end, which is practical but I have yet to use since I don’t pair it with lipstick haha!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Galentine’s Day Sephora Trip!!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is going well!!

This lovely Galentine’s day, I spent at Sephora and seeing Deadpool with my Momma… and it was amazing! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, spent with people you love or spending the day pampering yourself!!

Of course I went in for ONE item and left with four as well as hitting the monetary mark for keeping my VIB status until 12/31/2017… Shhhh I don’t have a problem.

Anyway, lets jump in to what you are all here for!

Sephora Trip

Let’s start off with what I originally wanted to go to Sephora for…

Beauty Blender Solid Soap

The Blender Cleanser Solid… Which is basically a fancy way of saying solid soap for your beauty blender. I have recently fallen to all the hype of the beauty blender and now don’t think I could live without it… But that’s another post for another day. Anyway, I tried to clean my beauty blender with my regular brush soap and it just didn’t work, so like buying into the hype of the beauty blender I’m hoping buying into this will work… Wish me luck.

Now more fun stuff to play with!!

Urban Decay Glid on Pencil Gwen Stefani

So… I bought the matching lip liner to my new found favorite lipstick that I raved about last week… Don’t judge. It’s limited edition and I had to have it… It’s the shade “Ex-Girlfriend” shade by Urban Decay and their 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil and I love it.

Then I got really excited…

Bobbi Brown Correcter

Because I have been eyeing it for months and heard so much about it… Plus I just ran out of my Tarte CC Undereye Corrector which I love and they never had my shade at my friendly neighborhood Sephora but the Galentine Gods were looking down on me and not my bank account so I bought it… So this is the Bobbi Brown Corrector in the shade “Porcelain Peach”. The reason I never wanted to buy it on line (which I easily could have) is I’m super bad at color matching myself to online products haha. I’m glad I waited because what I thought I was online was not what I actually was. Also look how cute and tiny this packaging is!!!!

And finally, whats a trip to Sephora without a point perk??

Buxom Point Perk.jpg

For 100 points I got this adorable and incredible smelling Buxom “Big & Sexy” Bold Gel Lipstick. They come in satin finishes and matte finishes and this is the matte finish in “Sinful Cinnamon” and I am super excited to try this, considering since the color is right up my alley haha!

Okay, that’s enough rambling from me for today!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

New from Urban Decay!!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are excited for the weekend!

Today I want to talk about the new Gwen Stefani range from Urban Decay and how it took every bone in my body to purchase everything from it.

Amazingly enough I only walked away with a lipstick and my bank account thanked me. But I will be definitely be going back soon to pick up the matching lip liner and maybe another shade or two…

Urban Decay, I believe is safe to say, one of my favorite if not my favorite high end brand. All of their products wear so well and look amazing. So of course when Gwen Stefani teamed up with them, admit it, we were all excited.

So this is the lipstick I picked up,

Gwen Stefani Urban Decay Lipstick

This is her lipstick in “ExGirlfriend” and its beautiful. So smooth and looks so gorgeous on the lips. I know its no surprise that its a nude (I can’t help myself) but its beautiful. It feels very moisturizing and almost like a balm on the lips with a great color payoff.

I swatched pretty much the entire line at Sephora and everything was so smooth and pigmented. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Urban Decay. Its all amazing and highly recommend!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

New Mascara from Ciate London!!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you are having a great week and staying warm from all the snow (if you’re in the North East of the US)!

Today I want to talk about another mascara that I have been really enjoying!

Ciate London Triple Shot Mascara

This is from Ciate London, and it is their “Triple Shot Mascara”. ┬áIt claims to, “instantly lengthen, volumizes, defines and curls…”.

And I have to say, it does! For a non-waterproof mascara it holds a curl really well, especially for my lashes that like to grow straight. I’ve only tried it a few times, so I’m a little on the fence still, but so far so good! It doesn’t flake or smudge under the eye and because it isn’t waterproof it comes off super easily (which is always a bonus for someone who lives in waterproof mascara haha).

So if you see this at Sephora try it out! I bought the mini one because I have heard about this mascara when they launched it and have been interested in it, and the other day while I was there in the aisle of doom I caved right in! I will more than likely pick up the full size next time I am there!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo

Something New to My Makeup Collection

Happy Friday everyone!! I hope you all had a great week and are excited for the weekend!

So lately I have been pretty board with my makeup routine. I do the same thing to my eyes everyday, which is liquid liner cat flick.

Eyeshadow scares me, but lately all the makeup looks I have been loving and looking at are all created by eyeshadow… So I gave in and decided to face my makeup fear and try something new! New year new me, right?

Naked Basics Pallet

I bought my first eyeshadow palette! Now it’s literally basic of basic palettes, 6 matte shadows by Urban Decay. (The Naked Basics Palette)

Naked Basics Shadows

There are so many palettes out there and everyone raves over Urban Decay Naked Palettes, and Urban Decay is one of my favorite brands so I thought why not. I just wanted something that was travel friendly, matte, not a lot of shadows but everything you needed. This seemed perfect, I’ve had my eye on this for a while but have been too scared.

I’m really happy with this purchase but still nervous to dive into the world of shadows. Let me know if you have any tips for me! And if there are any makeup items that you have been scared to try, let me know!

Until next time,

Cheers! xoxo
